THERMOTEC, Inc., a REFCOTEC joint-venture, is proud to announce the acquisition of PC Campana’s (Lorain, OH)sand mini-riser division.  PC Campana has been servicing the metals manufacturing industry with high-quality consumable products since 1969.  Their mini-riser division was launched in 1984, producing exothermic sand mini risers that could withstand the forces of high-pressure sand molding.  

This acquisition falls in-line with THERMOTEC’s strategic goal of being the premier supplier of feeding-aid and hot-topping products to the North American foundry market.   Historically, THERMOTEC’s feeding-aid offerings were limited to vacuum-formed fiber options.  With this acquisition, THERMOTEC diversifies its offerings; immediately offering a full line of mini-riser products.  These products continue to grow in popularity due to their rigidity and superior feeding ability with improved yields. The technology and performance of the PC Campana mini-riser products is second to none and will continue to lead the market under THERMOTEC’s umbrella.  Mini-riser production will take place at existing THERMOTEC facilities with the stringent quality standards and short lead-times our clients have become accustomed to.
